Mexican Imagery

I love vintage Mexican imagery and the sort of things you can do with them. I like this one. Zapata is everywhere, such an amazing caudillo and the skulls always framing the playfulness and awareness mexicans have about death.

colectivo hua.ra.cheThis one is from Colectivo Hua.Ra.Che and their aim to promote Indigena and Mexican identity through their art. It is through the visual images that they promote a change in consciousness. Here is another one worth looking at:

This one also struck me as the epitome of the mujer mexicana…The image speaks for itself…
